I hate Cathy! I wanted her to go home so bad. She seems so fake and is a complete b. I wish the judges panel could see that she fights with every teammate she has....
I was sad Tyler went home, but can see why. That bench and wall were terrible.
Hopefully Cathy goes home next time.

Have you watched the video comments from Emily and David? I thought they were interesting.
I liked the idea of what Tyler was doing, but he needed to execute it better. On the other hand, his video sucked.
It really irks me that Cathy has made it this far...she is obnoxious. She does have video, skills but the thing she does with her eyes, (that I am guessing is from contacts, like our neighbor who does the same thing ), really bugs the heck out of DH and he can't watch her.
I am glad that they only liked the stuff that Karl did in the kitchen....I wish they would watch the videos and see how horrible Cathy is to work with. It makes me think of Penny on NFNS and how quickly the judges realized that no one would want to work with or watch her....Cathy is just as awful as Penny.
I do want to give Cathy props on one thing- I think this is the first episode where she hasn't screamed at her partner "At some point, you're just going to have to trust me!" That was a relief in its own.
I can't remember, did Leslie go off on Cathy in the first episode when they were partnered?
I was extremely surprised Cathy didn't pick 'global' as the style for their kitchen. I thought she'd snatch that up before Karl even had the chance to disagree.
I love Leslie! She has a great eye for unique pieces, her rooms are always interesting and well done, and she has a great personality.
Was anyone else really not wowed by any of the finished rooms this week? I felt like they needed a little more time to finish things.

I just watched these. I'm so glad David brought up the colors in Meg and Kevin's kitchen. I thought they were horrible! I love me some bold wall colors, but that was bad.
Leslie just ignored Cathy. She let her blather on, and then did whatever she wanted.lol
I was underwhelmed. I was wishing that they had given them a bit more time, so that they could really pull them together rather than just trying to get it finished and staged to the best of their capabilities, rather than finishing what they could in the allotted time and throwing whatever they could into the space playing beat the clock.

I thought Cathy would pick global too, since that is her thing and all. I could go on and on about her. I can't stand her.
I was very disappointed in the kitchens. They were all so standard - dark wood, tile backsplash, granite counters and stainless appliances.
For the farmhouse, I kept thinking if they would do a farm style sink and some cool white washed wood or butcher block counters. There could have been some fun unexpected options.....
Leslie and Kellie are 2 of my favorites.
I have a feeling the production is keeping her around for the entertainment value. The people already eliminated they didn't see in the finale anyway, so they might as well leave the drama for a bit
I loved the bench Tyler picked out, it was just dwarfed by the table and Vern was right - the scale was all off.
I totally agree that Cathy is just as bad as Penny on NFNS!! She also reminds me of MaryBeth on NFNS...both did very well on camera and that's the main reason why they stayed on the show for so long. MaryBeth was not a very good cook and Cathy is not a very good designer. I hate people like that!! I have a feeling the network wants to keep Cathy on the show for awhile though for the drama she creates. I always feel bad for whoever has to work with Cathy!
I am thrilled to see this post. I can NOT stand Cathy. She does not get along with anyone and her designs are horrible. She does do good on camera, but if she designs like crap, what good is a video?
And, to be totally petty, her mouth is too big and it really bothers me.
