? for those smarter w/ computers than I (so, basically everyone)
Is there a way to create something in a word document (or in our case, works b/c we are too cheap to pay for word) and have it printed by the photo lab at costco? I keep seeing all these cute sayings on pinterest that I'd like to print off for our 11x14 frame in our kitchen, but I can't seem to find any that are uploading correctly to costco - either they aren't the right shape to crop appropriately, or they aren't good enough resolution to print that large. I want to just design my own simple font/saying thing, but print on larger, photo paper than our printer will allow. Any ideas how to do this? online programs?

You could save your word file as a .jpg instead of .doc and then upload it to wherever as a picture.
Or you could cut and paste it into something like MS Paint. (I think most works programs come with paint.)
OR you could get shiny photo paper and put it in your own printere, print it off, and crop it to 8x10.
