now I'm curious about the Little Gym classes. I would like to try them out with Ellie. Would you mind telling me how much they cost? I want to know if they'd fit into our budget before I go check out the gym itself.

Re: **zane**

  • When we started earlier this year, it was the second or third week of Spring semester, and ended up being about $400 for the classes, plus $40 for the annual membership.

Summer session would have been $180 (I think) and that would have run July and August.

We were given the option to combine the fall and spring sessions (Sept-June) coming up, which would have been about $840. But, I don't think theres any real benefit to combining them, so you could probably just do fall for $400 and if you like it just re-enroll for Spring.

They have three different types of payment plans, which are something to the effect of pay in full, pay over three months, pay each month. For the Spring we did the monthly payments, which ended up being about $100/mnth and we'll probably do the same for the fall. They'll pro-rate, so if its the middle of a session, they'll only charge for the remaining classes.  Also, almost every center offers a free introductory class, so you can go check it out, see how Ellie would like it, how you would like it, etc. Here's a list of all the Texas centers, so hopefully theres one close enough to you. I think Ellie would still be in one of the Bird's classes. You go once a week, and each class is roughly 45mins long.Usually each week has a theme or something that they focus on.

If its not something you can do right now, I would suggest keeping it in mind for when shes a little older.  The classes start at 4mos, but go up to like 12 or something. They do dance and gymnastics, but its all non-competitive. Plus, with the membership, you can use their facility for birthday parties, send Ellie to their summer camp, and they have "date nights" so instead of hiring a babysitter that night, you can take Ellie there.

If you have any other questions about it, let me know, I'll be happy to help Smile

  • cool, thank you so much for all the info!
