i REALLY can't decide on how i feel about magic. i don't "believe" in magic..but i love/hate watching it.

i love it because it's very amusing/amazing to watch..i hate it because i know there's a law of physics that will explain what type of slight-of-hand happened.

i have a friend who is a very successful professional magician, and he literally pulls tricks out of his back pocket. i love it. and hate it... i watch his tricks over and over and can never figure it out. (except one...i know how he did it!). but the rest. ugh! frustrating! he also does mind-reading/psychological magic...and oooooooohhh that drives me crazy. he can read my mind..and it scares the crap out of me! (he probably knows i think he's cute!).

This exactly. I do like Neil Patrick Harris, he enjoys performing magic tricks. Does it a lot on How I Met Your Mother. I don't believe in magic, except for Disney. Smile

I saw David Copperfield when I was little and that was pretty cool. I can enjoy some of it, but ONLY if it's in person, not on TV or whatever. I typically can enjoy the in-person just because I find it fascinating how someone can develop such great sleight-of-hand skills, etc.
