Creative Bridal Shower Favors/Gifts?
So we are all married, right? Ha ha.
What was provided as bridal shower favors and/or gifts for winning games at your showers? Please tell me about them!
Re: Creative Bridal Shower Favors/Gifts?
I don't even know if I can remember, LOL.
I want to say favors were pouches of those pastel mints that melt in your mouth.
Um, gifts. I can't think of what they had.
My sisters we had these ceramic tea holders with tea in it for one and for the other we had some tricket thing as thank you gifts. For the prizes we had Bath and Body Work stuff, Stationary, or anything really girly.
Mine we had soap in a decorative box for one, these shot glass necklaces for another and the same kind of stuff for the prizes we had at my sisters.

I think it was Bath & Body Works stuff, but I don't really remember. After the shower my cousin gave me a cute little photo album with pictures from the shower and random pictures from my childhood.
I had neither. This is what happens when total strangers give you a shower versus your sister/MOH.
Not that I'm bitter or anything.

I've received B&BW as a hostess gift, and given candles as prizes. This sounds kind of cheap, but I shopped at TJMaxx for the candles, and got really cute, smelly-good ones for $4 - not a name brand, but considerably cheaper because budget was a huge issue, and I still made sure they smelled yummy.
My BM's gave small value Starbucks cards as the prizes (I think we had three games?) and for favors everyone got a mini bag of caramel corn with a sticker because I love it.
ETA: I also once went to a shower where heart shaped cookie cutters were given out with the bride's favorite cookie recipe attached on a 3x5. I still use this cookie cutter every Valentine's Day and think about her shower each time I do.
Thanks Ladies - Great Ideas!
Leslie - I love the cookie cutter thing! I may have to ask the girls about it.
Stephie - Yeah, me too. Well, I had a great one...but the now-bride didn't help. I'm trying out the 'being the better person' role.
Oh, this made me think of something. At my boss' fiancee's bridal shower the favors were something similar. Really cute little "SOS kits"--they were tiny but they had everything from clear nail polish, to an emery board to a tiny tampon. They were in this little silver tiny bag. I still have mine. Super cute.
I feel bad saying that really--I ended up loving my shower even though I didn't want it. But if my sister had been allowed to throw the shower, I know it would have had all those cute personal touches that I missed. I remember she brought my favorite E-pic all framed to put out and I was so touched by that.

Tiffany - It looks like you can get them here with a personalized card with wedding date/names and a sugar cookie recipe printed up for $8/doz. You do have to tie the cards to the cookie cutters but even if you got stuck doing it all yourself it wouldn't be too much work.

Tiffany-
My MOH gave those little heart cookie cutters too. She got them from Party City for $2 a set. Everyone seemed to like them a lot.
We had a Pampered Chef show too and she gave little PC things for gifts, like bag clips, recipe books, etc.
For prizes we gave out cupcake kitchen towels and cupcake pot holders.
I found a ton of them after Valentine's day that were mega marked down. Everyone loved them!
For favors, I had a large glass jar filled with york mints that I glued a polka dot to stamped with "Thank You" in different languages. No one took any, but it was such a rushed event towards the end.
