Cute story
We boarded Mendel for a 5 days when we went to Dallas. I loved getting updates every day on how he was doing. Apparently he was bff with the owners lab Stanley...they would get other dogs to chase them, sleep on the same bed, and run through the packs of little dogs to make them scatter...getting up to basic dog mischief.
It has been 2 days since I picked Mendel up and he has been kind of mopey. At first, I thought he was mad at me (like he has been in the past when we left him with friends) but when I got a phone call from the boarding facility today my opinion changed. Apparently, Stanley has been mopey too...Mendel & Stanley miss each other! So the owner said I can bring Mendel in for free a few hours a week so that they can play together.
