XP from Working Moms: If you do a little cleaning each night...
If you do a little cleaning each night, what do you do? I am trying to make a schedule to get it all done, and decide what to do on each night. I'm going to try to do a load of laundry each night & spend a little time decluttering). For the cleaning, what am I forgetting? So far, I'm thinking...
Monday vacuum
Tuesday litter box (trash day is Wednesday)
Wednesday dust
Thursday bathrooms
Friday free for date night
Saturday steam clean floors

I vacuum Sunday and Thursday, clean all the floors on Wednesday, clean the bathrooms on Thursday, declutter every night. I do the towels on Tuesday, our clothes on Wednesday or Thursday. I make sure that the kitchen sink is clean and free of dishes every night and morning. I dust regularly, but it could be a day during the week or on the weekend. I always wash the girls' bed sheets on Friday and our bedsheets on Saturday morning.
Please tell me that by "litterbox" you mean changing it and not just scooping it?! I do mine at least once a day if not twice.
I do all the basics every day (it takes less than 30 minutes to straighten, scoop, make beds, wipe counters, do dishes) and then save the heavy cleaning for Saturday mornings. I do laundry 2 days in the evenings and a few loads on weekends.
