Anxiety!
Back in college before DH and I were engaged, I started a baby quilt for my first child. I finished it in December 2007, six months before our wedding. I never washed it, but rather folded it up and put it in a bag for safe keeping.
It's in the washing machine now. I know it will be fine, but I have visions of it coming out in pieces. Or worse, all of the embroidery floss coming off. The top is cross-stitched. It took a year and a half to make.
Keeping my fingers crossed...
