Anyone ever had problems with BC that didn't mix with alcohol? A year ago I tried to take ortho-lo and it made it extremely sick if I had any sort of alcohol at all, even 1 beer. After this happened I realized that 6 years before that I was on Ortho and after I had been on it for about 6 months I was getting sick from liquor, but not beer. I didn't realsize then that it was the BC that was behind it, I thought it was my body telling me not to drink liquor.
I really want to try another type of pills because I am having horrible cramps. I'm just worried about if I deside I want a beer, am I going to get sick. Does anyone have any experience with this at all. I'm kinda thinking about trying seasonique.
Re: BC and alcohol
Here is the thing: everybody is different.
Not everyone will have the same set of physiological reaction to the same set of circumstances. Other women may be fine with booze and a certain med; some will not.
Maybe what is happening is unique for you and you alone. If you enjoy an occasional beer, perhaps it's best advised to switch BC, then.
