Today a family member of mine was in the Omaha Public Schools TAC building parking lot and was attacked. The attacker attempted to rape her but she set off the panic button on her car and he ran off. If you work/live in that area, please be careful and stay alert!
If you know me in real life, please do not mention this family member by name on Facebook or here.
Re: PLEASE READ!!!
love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
Actually, I think the panic button thing was on accident, but it may have saved her!
So scary! What is wrong with people?? I'm glad she's okay (physically anyways).
That is my biggest fear... getting attacked in a parking lot. Especially while buckling kids into carseats when I'm completely distracted. I'm constantly looking over my shoulder. You just never know!! Makes me not want to leave the house and lock up my kids forever.
Holy cow, we're going to have a little sister!!
Ditto. It's just unimaginable.
I have a meeting there tomorrow morning. I hate what this area of Omaha (and all over for that matter) is becoming.
Glad she is physically okay - prayers for the emotional healing!

Thank you so much for letting us know.
What a terrible feeling...
Holy scariness!
I will be praying for her!!!
