Run report

Since it's slow, I'm going to talk at you all about running.

10.5 miles today!  Thank you all for your well wishes!  The run went really well.  The only real pain was from a stupid huge blister on my foot that I can't seem to get to go away.  I wore 4 bandaids (3 layers) and two pairs of socks, but the darn thing still made the last few miles pretty painful.  I did wear compression sleeves on the lower half of my legs.  They looked kind of rediculous, but I didn't have any calf/shin pain, so I don't care what they look like.

I'm starting to feel like I can do this!  But what's weird is that I don't feel like I can claim to be a runner.  I'm really slow, and I do walk some, so maybe that's why I don't give myself the title.  And I stopped caring so much about my times today.  I know I can be within the time to finish without getting picked up by the "too-slow truck", so all I care about is finishing.

And now I will enjoy my patty melt and sweet potato fries.  It's all homemade, and nothing is fried, so it's not as unhealthy as it sounds.  Fried foods are not my friends right now.
