Well Kare's serving Britney at Victoria's Secret got me thinking - have you had a brush with fame? If so who, when, where?
About 3 years ago I served Alan Combs from Fox News. That was pretty cool. His mom aparently had a summer home near the cape so they stopped by have dinner.
Then last night's PaulyD encounter.
That's about it for me.

Re: brush with fame
Vince Gill walked out in front of our car once. I've been to lunch with girls who recognize other country stars, but I have no idea who they are since I'm not a huge country music fan.
Oh and Jimmy Fallon sat a few rows over from us at a hockey game.
I'm not sure what my reaction would be if it were someone I was a fan of. I'd probably just stare from afar.
I was an extra in Ladder 49. I was also incredibly ill that day. Woke up with a high fever and sick to my stomach, but I was so not missing that day. In between takes I was running off set and throwing up. I finally gave up and stayed downstairs in the lunch room with my head on the table. I heard some one enter the room and ask me if I was ok. I looked up and it was John Travolta. All I could was mumble I'm fine and then put my head down again. He sent someone else in to check on me again LOL.
When I was down ocean city one year for the Resp conference it was also bike week. I was out at the night club kinda drunk and this creepy guy kept hitting on me. He was starting to freak me out. When this other guy intervened and told the creep to leave me alone. I was really thankful and offered to by him a drink. He declined but bought me one. I said something stupid to the effect of "boy you look familiar". He just laughed. Its wasn't until the next day I realized it was Pauly from Orange City Choppers.
None are really "famous" but are known people lol. I hung out with Howie and Joey Fatone at a club a couple of times, my friend use to sleep with Tiger Woods (go figure) so I saw him a couple times, drank with OJ simpson, was back stage at a Foo fighters concert and was sitting in the "lunch room" and they all walked in to eat and I almost pissed my pants... then after the concert I hung out on their tour bus till about 4am, and one night out I was dancing and saw some tall dark and handsome guy watching me so I invited him over to dance with me inwhich he invited me over to drink krystal (spelled wrong lol) and I couldn't figure out why people kept coming over asking him for his autograph until someone came over and said "you did great in the super bowl... maybe next year" and it clicked.... he was an Eagles football player... quite a night lol.

MD, I knew that about you already. I bet it became normal and not fun anymore after a while.
All the other stories are great.
Blonde - I love yours!
Went through my photobucket and found these LOL
OJ Simpson...

Jeremiah Trotter...

Too bad the next day I looked him up on the internet to see if it was really him and found out he was married with kids :-

Jerry Springer drunkenly hugged me and my friend at Mardi Gras once (he was in one of the parades...can't remember). I do remember that Joshua Jackson was in town then and our other friends saw him a street over and I kep talking about finding Pasey. This guy I know came in and kissed me and is like "bet you forgot about Pasey now". Um....no. No, I did not.
Other than that I don't have any celeb encounters. My friend ex-bf was a pro kick boxer so I met lots of them/UFC people, but they're not exactly famous. Chuck Liddell is probably the most well known.
I also ate dinner a table over from Bruce Willis when I lived in Hilton Head, but we didn't know it until they walked out. It was at one of those hibachi type places with individual little areas.
Mine are "meh." At the gyms I have worked at is where I have encountered celebrities. Queen Latifah when she was in town filming, Lil Wayne was a regular member. Saints players.
The other gym/personal training facility hosted Serena Williams (my boss was her personal trainer), John Goodman (but everyone and their brother has met him because he has lived here forever anyway), Kelly Rippa.

Related, but haven't met? I'd so be inviting myself to holidays at his house! How are you related?
Ha. He is first cousins with my grandfather. My grandfather never even met him. Obviously not a close relationship, but in my family all the distant cousins are usually pretty close and all considered family still.
