I want to know how in the hell you find time to go shopping, run a bunch of errands, bake, cook, clean, sew all kinds of things, nest/fb, and take care of Owen! I can't even get my kid (Owen that is) out of the house and in the car to go somewhere. It's like pulling teeth. And then he won't nap for me to get things done, J takes 2 naps usually but seriously, I feel like I have no time for anything and you just zip around and get things done like it's nobody's business.
What gives? I need the secret
Holly
Re: Tiff
Hmm, my secret - pepsi?
I plan my grocery shopping trips/ activities usually after 9am - and before his naptime which is usually around noon or so. Then when he naps, I will sew or make stuff for a little bit - he usually naps for an hour or two. Then when he gets up, I'll put in a movie for him while I tidy up the house/interwebs/jack around/bake/ect......then if dh is working, we will go visit him in the evening, then bath, then bed - then I will stay up till about 10 or so, put in laundry, load the dishwasher, do a quick tidy of the house/pick up toys, then I go to bed.
But, I also get a ton of stuff done because dh is off for 24hrs every other day, so that helps
Owen is super clingy to him when he gets home, and that takes a load off my back.
I guess my super secret is that I talk to Owen a lot, and teach/involve him in whatever I'm doing, and he likes to watch. As much as I talk about him being crazy and naughty, he really is a good boy. And baking/shopping/sewing/knitting are seriously stress relievers for me, so its not really work to do it. I like it.
