Hello, lovely ladies! happy wednesday to all! Come share your good news, big or small! If you personally don't have any good news you can think of, share something good you read in the news or something sort of positive! We need some positive energy floating around
Re: Good News Wednesday!!!
My major piece of good news is that I just signed a full-time contract as a nanny for baby L! The contract includes a good salary and the obligatory 5 week vacation! woot! In TX as a nanny I didn't get any paid vacation. And they have a museum pass and would like me to take Baby L to a different exhibit each week, so yes I get to visit all kinds of Paris museums as part of my job.
We also just purchased tickets to go see the Dallas Cowboys play in September. Im not a big football fan, but I do like to see games in stadium.
I am finding my H to be more and more attractive for no real reason. Not that I wasn't insanely attracted to him before. He hasn't changed that much, but man is he hotter than ever! (It might be my uterus talking..I admittedly have BOTB a lot of the time lol)
myblue, that sounds like an awesome job! I'm jealous about the Cowboys tickets. Someday we'll go to a game.
My good news is that we are heading to London Friday morning to meet my parents and have a little first birthday celebration for Will. I'm excited.
I don't have any particular good news, but I'm excited about a couple of things.
1. I've just started a new, intense phase of my workout and so far I am liking it! I was getting bored with the old phase and these new ones are SO difficult that I feel so hardcore for doing them. The small differences are also starting to become more visible to me, so yay for seeing tiny signs of progress!
2. FH and I leave for Italy in 10 days! And then hopefully all the wedding details will be sorted out.
3. The weather has been so NICE since Sunday. We are talking highs of "only" 35C degrees, which is about 10 - 13 degrees cooler than previously. It even sprinkled the other day and the nice cool mornings and evenings feel great. I know it's not permanent, but it still feels good for now!
My parents will be here in less than a week! I'm excited to see them and show them around a bit.
After many appointments with chiro and physio, my back is starting to feel a bit better. Hopefully I can back into a workout routine soon.
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
It's shallow, but I had my teeth whitened yesterday, I am really likening the results.
However, no coffee this mornign, so I have a lack of coffee headache, but it is worth it!
H and I have decided to have a bit of a date night every Wednesday, so we're going to the cinema after work today.
Also, I have upped my gym routine and am still coming out of the gym less purple than I used to.
I have plans this Friday with some girls in my area from the Starting Over board!
STBXH stopped harassing me via text, phone, email, and gchat...at least for the moment. It was wonderful to have a day free from his craziness
I passed all of my classes and I finally got my Masters in education.
I love good news! Mine is:
T - 10 days until Italian Opera
T - 23 Days until Cruise
Just ran my longest run yet this morning (2 miles)!
Love this post!
I took a standard driving lesson on Thursday and did pretty well! I'm looking forward to practicing more on our new car when I get back home.
Traveling Turtle that is AMAZING news! Congratulations! It must feel like such a relief.
Ladies, I love this post. Even when I don't have good news it's so great to read about everybody else's. It's very uplifting.
As for me, I leave for the US in 9 days!!!! Yay for my family and friends meeting baby C for the first time, my best friends wedding, and C's baptism.
Yay for everyone's good news!
My good news is that all my guests are finally gone and I can once again have alone time with DH. (Don't get me wrong, I loved seeing my little brother and my friend, but after 1.5 months it got to being too long)
