Has anyone been out to their tastings? I was on their webpage and they are having a Blue's and Wine Fest next weekend. They are located in Elkton.
Re: Terrapin Station Winery
Yeah, I would agree. I had it at a wine festival a few years ago and it was the worst wine there.
Everything does taste awesome at the end of the day
I had it towards the end of the day at the wine festival we went to, but I wasn't that tipsy. I was disappointed because I think the name is super cute, but even in comparing it to only other MD wines (which overall I do not have the highest opinion of when compared to West Coast, etc.) I felt it was not so hot.
There are plenty of decent boxed wines out there, I just don't think this is one of them.
Good to know. I generally like some of the MD wines, I like the sweeter ones. I too love the name and it's a shame that they aren't better. They would go far around here with that name.
The issue I had with their wine was that the ones I tasted were like straight up vinegar.
