Dillards return policy
I bought 2 dresses for a special occasion, not knowing which one I would end up wearing. The plan was to return the other and get my money back. Well I put my receipt somewhere so it wouldn't get lost and of course, I lost it! Does anyone know if Dillards can look up receipts with credit card transactions (similar to what Target does). I would really like to get my money back instead of store credit.

Affirmative. If you don't have the yellow tag, don't bother trying to return it even if you do have your receipt. If you do have the yellow tag = Easiest return ever.
We could do that when I worked there 8+ years ago, so I assume they still can.

oh wow, i never knew that little yellow tag was that smart that long ago. I guess i'm just remembering all the wedding returns that obviously I wanted credit for. Dillards was so ahead of the times weren't they! Love it!
