Re: party punch ideas (no booze)
I love the ginger ale and juice punch. I especially like it where there's rainbow sherbet floating in it. If i'm feeling crazy, i'll also add in a bag of frozen strawberries.
I made a punch for halloween last year that had a ton of booze in it, but i think it would be good without booze. It was just crushed pineapple, cranberry juice, club soda and ginger ale.
We make the rockin' world go 'round.
1 can frozen oj concentrate, 1 can lemonade concentrate, 1 can pineapple juice concentrate, 2 2-liter bottles of 7-up.
fantastic punch. I made this for a shower i hosted (it was a girl so i got the pink lemonade). i really enjoyed it. I made it a second time for a work party and everyone loved it.
This is good!
I've been getting the TJ's sparkling lemonades lately and people have gone crazy for them. That in a punch bowl with some berries floating around would be lovely.
lemonade with floating blueberries and sprigs of mint would be really yummy!
I think peach nectar mixed with sparking grape juice would taste good, too.
The mid-western girl in me also loves some good 'ole sherbert punch, too.
p.s. - i checked at the cake shop, and they don't have any giraffe shaped cookie cutters. But - look here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EZAB7C/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_3?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000F98LIY&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1Q704JPM1XPP41KZ8D4E
Shipped by Amazon, so they might come in time?
This was a hit at the baby shower I hosted last summer.

I do -
1 tub of orange sherbet
1 can of pineapple juice
Hawaiian punch - probably equal to the pineapple juice
Gingerale - probably 2 cups or depends on how much room I have left in my punch bowl
Or
Make strawberry kool-aid/crystal light, add frozen berries and freeze in a metal bundt pan or for a tall dispenser in a cardboard juice box
Add lemonade
It makes a very pretty and tasty strawberry lemonade.
I had this awesome booze-free punch at my baby shower and I loved it:
Summertime Punch (aka lemonade/iced tea deliciousness. I think they added mint to it.

My mom used to make a punch with 50/50 (do they even make that anymore?) and Hawaiian punch. She would also add in scoops of rainbow sherbet. It was always tasty.
if they dont make 50/50 anymore a sprite or squirt would work
