What's Bugging You Wednesday?

(I missed this last week)

What's bugging you, that's really not a big deal?

  • What's bugging me is that I tried to post this from my phone earlier this morning as I was waiting for my oil to get changed and I realized that, for whatever reason, the internet browser on my phone won't recognize the message text box so that I can actually type in a message and post from my phone.  I can type in the subject box, but not in the message box.  I got the battery issue worked out on the phone, but this is bugging me!

  • Can I list everything my DH does? I'm kidding (mostly) there's just a lot of things he does around the house that are different than how I do them and it drives me nuts. For example, he washes all of DD's bottles and then rinses them all at once. I rinse each one after it gets scrubbed. Obviously they're getting clean and I am happy he's doing it at all, but I still find myself having to hold my tongue to not tell him to do it my way.

  •  It's another one about a DH.... My H takes care of M in the AM, gets her up changes and plays with her until I am done getting ready, but he can never seem to walk the dirty diaper to the garbage.. its' beyond annoying and it doesn't matter how many times I ask him to throw it away I always end up doing it...

Once you're in the browser, got to Settings & uncheck the "enable Javascript" box. That should work. You just have to remember to recheck it when you're done on TN or other sites won't display properly.

Awesome. Thanks! (posting this from my phone!)

  • The bugs outside are bugging me!  I got bit by something on Monday, right near the back of my knee and my knee is all swollen, bruised and tender now.  I'm contemplating going to the doctor to get it checked out.  It looks pretty gross.  I've never had a reaction like this to a bug bite before.... Sad

I think maybe next time the dirty diaper should accidentally find its way onto his side of the bed.  Devil

LoL Mara.  I like the way you think.

I have one about DH too.  For the last month or so, DH has been taking off his work shoes right in the doorway to the living room--pretty much right in the middle of the damn floor.  So every time I turn the corner and walk into the kitchen I'm tripping over his stupid shoes.  He used to just take them off by the back door, but now I guess he likes putting them right where he knows it irritates me.  I've asked him to put them somewhere else, so that I don't always have to move his shoes every day....but it keeps happening.

Maggie - The bugs have really been bothering me too.  I hate bugs, inside, outside, anywhere.  Crickets for some reason really irritate me when they're hopping all over the lawn.  We seem to have a ton of them this summer.

  • I just thought of another one.

I've been checking the hospital website in regards to taking a family tour of the birth center with Emma.  I thought it'd be something she'd enjoy and help get her even more excited about the baby.  They only have dates posted until the end of this month, and none of them work out with DH's work schedule.  All of the other hospitals in the network have their tour dates scheduled through the rest of the year!! I called about it last week and was just told to "keep checking back" but it's irritating me that they're not updating it. Jerks.

FI was doing this with his shoes after he moved in, and I also got tired of asking him to take them off at the door.  The solution:  the next time I found them in the living room I picked them up and throw them in the middle of the kitchen (the next room over where I know he'll be walking).  He walked through, asked why his shoes were there, and I said "because they belong there as much as they belong in the living room."  The next time I did it, he didn't even ask, just picked them up and moved them.  Now he generally takes his shoes off at the door.

  • what's bugging me is that I just went out to lunch and the waitress asked if I wanted cheese, lettuce, pickles on my burger and I said yes, cheese & pickles please.  I did not know that they would charge extra for that!  It really doesn't matter, but I was suprised to see the additional $1.25!

  • H will intentionally set his alarm 30 mins before he wakes up and will then proceed to hit the snooze button at least 3 times before he finally wakes up.  This drives me INSANE!  Also, he has the alarm set to WRIF so it's usually playing Metallica or something similar at 5am. Because of this I usually wake up at the first alarm.  He's lucky I'm nice!
