WTF Wednesday (Marcy's boob saga edition)
WTF doctors. Ultrasound tech ran out of the room and gabbed a doctor. Doctor felt my boob, looked at my images and told me I couldn't leave until he spoke to my OBGYN. Came back in after consulting with my doctor and only said this...."You need to speak with a breast surgeon, call your office and get the phone number for the surgeon they recommend" ----- Ummmmm that's it? No diagnosis? No treatment plan? No nothing? Just "call a surgeon" WTF?????
How do I make an appointment with a surgeon when I have no diagnosis?

An infection in my breast that my doctors blew off with called-in antibiotics has progressed to what is thought to be a pretty large (larger than a golf ball) abscess. I have no details other than that. I'm in pain constantly, unlike anything I've ever felt, and I've been on antibiotics for weeks.
I need to see if I can extend my disability.

WTF receptionist at the surgeon's office. I'm not coming in for a boob job, there is some urgency with my situation. I can not wait 5 days for a friggin consult and I won't be checking my mail for your "new patient packet" ....get me the fuuck in there!

I ended up having to call my doctor to call the surgeon.
Appointment was rescheduled for 8:30am tomorrow.

WTF LO. We switch to formula and you're still eating every two hours? You're going to be huge! I'm so glad we have a doctor's appointment tomorrow so I can ask about this.
