moving :)
H and I just found out this week that we are accepted into UCSD's family housing! Yay! We move at the beginning of September.
The new apartment is considerably bigger than our current apartment. It has an outdoor patio, which is fabulous. And there are tons of families with small children all living and sharing outdoor lawns, playgrounds, etc. Our current apt has no outdoor space, and we would be the only people there with a child. So it's a really exciting move 
On top of that, the apts have a community garden where you can sign up for a small plot. We are so excited to start growing some veggies and herbs.
Can you tell I'm excited??!

That is so exciting!!! Congrats :-) Good luck with packing and the move! It sounds like this place will be an awesome fit for you guys! I have never had a garden due to living in apartments, but I would love to be able to have one.
We are still on the fence on what we want to do here... we have been looking at houses but are scared that we don't have enough saved up for all the expenses that go into buying a house. So we are still thinking about trying to get into a 2 bedroom come December... so many choice and options!!
So exciting Molly! It will be great to be around other families.
I didn't realize you were in San Diego. My family is in LA and we often come to SD when visiting them. We should try and GTG one time!
Hinmighty - I was reading your post with stormchaser down a few, and saw that you are using Italian names. We are doing the same
H's family is super into their Italian heritage. For now we're thinking Carlo for a boy, and Lucia for a girl. Good luck figuring out your living situation! We definitely can't afford a house right now, with H in school, so 2 bedroom apt it is.

Congrats how wonderful to have time to move well before baby! Also, having outdoor space in SoCal is so important since it gets so hot down there...we're NorCal, but of course we'd go nuts if we didn't have outdoor space too, ha.
