Biopsy results

Everything is fine!

The spot on my ear was a benign keratosis and the spot on my abdomen was a junctional melanocytic nevus, also known as a mole.  Better safe than sorry and I am glad I had those spots checked!

Thanks to everyone who was thinking positive thoughts for me.

  • Good news! I've had a few of those, living in Florida with fair skin. Good to stay on top of it. You never know. My derm says, "Better to get it now before it starts spitting out cells you don't want."

That's exactly what was said in the message on my voicemail :)  Otherwise, I would have been like "Whaaaa?!?!"

  • Just curious: did they remove any of them completely? I had one removed back in April, and I think it's coming back. I didn't even know that could happen!
