OK I am working on setting up a shower for a coworker. We think we will have about 60 people. It will be lunch
A full tray of Penne Ala Vodka
A Full Tray of Chicken and Potatoes (40 pieces)
20 orders of Sausage and Peppers (4 pieces per order)
40 orders of Meatball (I think 1 meatball each)
Large feeds 20 1 Garden and 1 Ceaser Salad.
Then I have to get drinks I was thinking 2 liters and some water. How much do you think I should get?
Re: Is this enough?
I am so bad at this. I usually run it by the catering place since they have a betetr feel for these things.
While I bet 40 items of any entree is enough, i do worry that it is not enough if every single person wanted to try it.
I'd get a few gallons of water - maybe 4. then for 2 liters of soda, get mostly diets - maybe 5 of them, and then 1 regular, 2 "clear" sprite or 7 up. i find that soda rarely goes lately when i serve it. people are choosing water. even when my offic eorder lunch out on the company's dime, few people ever order soda. Some do get iced tea if you want to pick up some of that though.
I think that is fine. If you want maybe add sandwiches. At all my parties and DH's side we get these sandwich platters for a deli in Mahopac they are a staple now.
I would do 10 2-liters plus water.
