Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

BR/AW: omg i just came out to my boss
i didn't plan on it...i planned on doing it on friday...i have my appt today, and i planned on scheduling an appt with HR tomorrow, and then telling boss on friday....
but i got called into boss's office today...and i thought (of course) that i was in trouble...but apparently i'm up for a promotion!! i work for a company that is very by-the-book, so before i can get the promotion, there's a lot of hoops, and paperwork to deal with....but it's coming up soon!
so after he told me..i got back to my desk and started telling h about it..and realized i should probably tell my boss i'm pregnant now...in the intrest of full-disclosure, so i ran back into his office and told him. he was happy for me, and said it would have no affect on the promotion, and everything is still perfect.
yaaaaaaaay! i'm public in one source now! friends/family still have to wait till this weekend

I remember how nervous I was to tell my boss I was pregnant - especially since I had JUST gotten back from our honeymoon!
I'm glad that your boss took it well and said no affect on the promotion. Congratulations on that, by the way. That's awesome
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
