Where to eat at SFO airport?

Anyone have any tips on where to eat at SFO airport? We're going to have to eat dinner there due to the timing of our flight.

Re: Where to eat at SFO airport?

  • What airline are you flying out on? If it's American or Virgin America that will be in Terminal 2 and they are supposed to have good food there.

Terminal 3 on United or Continental - SF Soup Co. isn't bad, Yankee Pier

    Terminal 1 - I forget what's over there.

The only way I know this is I help sell the ad space inside the airport so I'm familiar with it. And if you're flying out of the international terminal, there are several places pre-security that have good food.

  • It's Continental so Terminal 3, I guess? Though I totally want to check out Terminal 2 after reading the 7x7 article on the revamp.

I'll check out the places you mentioned.

  • Terminal 2 is really good, there's a Lark Creek, Wine Bar, and Kat Cora opened up a place there as well (though it's pricey). We've flown out a couple times since it's opened and generally go to Lark Creek.

The Terminal with United has a pretty good food court as well, there's a SF Soup, Firewood, Andale and a Japanese restaurant and a Chinese restaurant.

Yes Terminal 3 has Continental and United - good places in the rotunda area (past security). There is also an interactive map online and you can see the restaurants and they may have the hours posted.
