Re: If you're bored...Pick a resort out of these choices.

  • Well, I am not at all helpful...but what about the Dreams?  The Dreams properties are fantastic and they have a great daycare program so there aren't children anywhere...
  • I'm going with the Zoetry. That looks like my kinda place. :)  So, um... We're coming with you guys. Yep. It's happening... haha

  • I will talk to you Thursday about Punta Cana. I think you should stay away from the Dominican so I would vote for one of the Jamaican resorts.

  • We went to the Dominican last summer. We had a good time, but I wasn't extremely impressed. I vote for Jamaica.

  • I got married at Couples San Souci. Really, really love that place. Everyone was really nice and it's just beautiful.

  • Allison - I thought you were a big Dominican fan?

I would not go to Jamaica, plus, didn't you just get back from there?

    What about Aruba or Barbados?

  • My friend went to Punta Cana DR for their honeymoon and had nothing but wonderful things to say about it!

  • We loved Jamaica--I am not a fan of Mexico after going to Negril. I loved Couples Swept Away. We aren't going until May of next year but we want to book now so we can map out our trip snow skiing and our Pasadena trip--we are taking B to both and so this will be our relaxing vacation. Where at Barbados would you rec Puppy?

  • I would stay in the Christ Church area - the Almond resorts have quite a few different properties throughout Barbados - some are couples only, some are not.  But, in my experience, the further south you get, the less likely you are to run into children even at the resorts that are not adults only.  Some Europeans will bring their kids but they are SO well behaved.

I think the Divi has a few properties on Barbados as well.  We really love the Divi properties but they are very no frills.  The food though is fantastic.
