MattNCarol why don't you introduce yourself?

I thought as you are about to embark on an international adventure, it would be good for an intro as well.

  • oh how cute! I gave a brief information.. but here it goes more details...

So, I'm brazilian from Rio de Janeiro, 21 years old and one year ago I met my now fianc? online. Long story short, we became best friends and after months talking, getting to know each other better and then we realized it was love! He came to Brazil to meet me, 25 days together, and since then we knew that was our fate to be together forever.

In March of this year we started the K1 process (fiancee visa), because we decided that here wouldn't be a good option for him, since he doesn't know the language and eventually wouldn't be able to get a job, and he'd end up giving up on his actual job which it'd be stupid because when his dad retires, my fianc? will own the business, so it'd be easier for me to just move there. Now we're waiting on the consulate to set an interview date for us, and praying for an approval, it hurts so bad to be away from the one you love.. patience it's not my best virtue but I guess I have to be friends with it :P

Little more info about me.. I was a Law student, I had to stop college for a while until I move to U.S and can study again, I'm working very hard on my english (I'm sorry about any grammar/spelling mistake), I live with my parents until I move, and I'm not currently working.. I had to quit when I stopped college (I worked at the court of my city, the job was connected to the university, so quit one and you have to quit both).

I use this website to help me with boredom, and use the knot most for ideas, our wedding will be kinda crazy. Once I enter the U.S, we have to get married within 90 days, and I can only plan stuff when I'm there... sighs... but it's all worth to be with my angel and I'm glad I could introduce myself, you ladies seem very nice :)

Anyway, is this intro good enough? :P
