Lurker intro and opinions needed

Hi! I lurk here a lot, but I figured it's time to introduce myself. I'm Stephanie, I hang out on the NBC board mostly. I'm from northern CA. I've really been getting back into sewing lately and I'm currently working on my first "real" quilt. I've done on before but it was tied and didn't have binding, so this is new for me. 
I'm also about to start working on some Christmas presents for the women in my life. I want to make a few purse accesories (wallets, pouches, etc.) for everybody and I need some opinions on the fabric. I want something feminine and modern, but not too "little girl". I can get everything out of one fat quarter, so I'll just be getting one collection. I'm looking at Joel Dewberry's Heirloom collections (leaning toward citrine or maybe saphirre) and Alice Kennedy's portobello or lemon grove (though I think lemon grove might be a little too immature). So what do you guys think of these? Any other suggestions? Thanks! Sorry about the formatting, i'm on my phone.

I love all of these fabrics!
ETA: ok, now that I looked at all of them again, I still love all the colors, but if you're only going to pick one, I think the fourth one (b&w pattern) is probably the 'safest' and could easily go with anything. Good luck!

I think I like Sapphire the best. I agree with pp that the b&w might be more flexible as far as wardrobe, but I think those prints are the least "grown up".
