grammar police: please advise
I'm ordering a personalized gift and one of the fields asks for the last name in plural form. Here's my question, if the last name already ends in S, what is the plural form?
For example: Peters
Is the plural still Peters?
TIA

Re: grammar police: please advise
The plural form of Peters is Peterses. It's strange, but it's the technically correct way to spell it.
Here's an explanation from Grammar Girl http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/how-to-make-family-names-plural.aspx
http://www.personalizationmall.com/Personalized-Wedding-Picture-Frames-Mr-and-Mrs-Collection-p1676.prod?sdest=dept&sdestid=1145&storeid=7&categoryid=1145
The personalization in the bottom left corner (where this one says "the Johnsons") is required to begin with "the."
Since I don't like the way "the Peterses" looks, I'm thinking of scrapping the gift alltogether
or replacing with a different phrase.
I'm open to suggestions on what this phrase should be!

I thought about: The Peters Family, but they have two children, and the frame is really for the couple.
I decided on: The happy couple.
