DH and I going to lunch to celebrate since he has to work evenings tonight. I'm going to clean out my suitcase this afternoon and maybe go for a run since the weather is so nice. Tonight we're going to a music festival once he's off work.
QOTD: August 11th, we've been married 2 years and together 3 years.
Morning! I have to clean the house today... my college roommate's little sister is coming to stay a couple nights with us. Depending on nap schedule, we'll go to a play group at the library.
Our anniversary is December 18th and this year we'll have been married for 5 years! Time flies. I can't believe its been that long!
Morning, I have the day off. DH and I have a meeting with the bank and I am hopefully going to go out to lunch and hit the gym. I have really enjoyed working every other day this week!
QOTD: December 16th is our anniversary. We will be married five years this year. I can't believe it :-). I think we are going to go to the Berlin Christmas markets to celebrate for the weekend.

Morning. I'm going to clean up the house, and do a bit of baking. I've got banana muffins, wheat thins, honey graham crackers and cinnamon graham crackers on the list. Maybe a batch of cookies too if I feel up to it.

Good morning. Happy anniversary ktkl! I'm at home now and will probably stay here for the day, trying to get rid of an infection and a cold. I have a dr appt in a few hours, so hopefully I'll get some help.
I'd forgotten about the construction going on at the hotel near us though - the banging, drilling and hammering does not really make for a relaxing day at home. At least they've stopped being so loud on Saturdays though!
QOTD: Our anniversary was this past Sunday, 7 August. We've been married for 2 years, and together for 6.5 years.

Today I'm going to try to organize our downstairs storage space and later on I'm going to see a friend I haven't seen in months and months. Hopefully swimming will be involved. She lives a bit out of the city and I pretty much always have to go to her so we don't get the chance to meet up a lot.
QOTD: Our anniversary is May 14th. We've been married one year and 3 months now.
Morning. Today I am sad. My friend and her family are moving to Australia and they leave today. I have been in a flood of tears since last night. I had made a whole lot of friends when I moved here, but some drifted because we realised that we had very different interests and well, I think we irritated each other, and the others have all moved away. I have 2 that were left here. Now the one leaves for Australia today and the other one works 6 days a week, and we only see each other maybe once a month (and usually when we run into each other in a shop). I have no more SAHM friends, and James has no one to have play dates with. I have tried 'friend dating' to try and find some new ones, but 4 friends later and I still have not found one that I gelled with (and one was also South African). This is the third time this has happened to me in 3 years, I am so tired of tryng to make friends.
Sorry to be a Debbie downer.

2012 Reading Challenge
Morning! Happy anniversary ktkl. We got back from two weeks in the US last night. The vacation was great, but the journey back sucked. We got stuck in DC over night on Tuesday night. Today is my first day back at work and I am incredibly jet lagged. So glad it's Thursday!
QOTD: January 31. Married for two and a half years, and will hopefully have a little one by our third anniversary (I'm due the week before)!
Hi! Today I am unpacking boxes from our sea container! It finally arrived and I am trying to get settled in. This is not an easy task with a very curious toddler who can't wait to open boxes and see what is in the next one. If it isn't toys...it is time to move on! To make things even harder I am alone with 2 kids under 2 while trying to unpack for a whole week! My DH is taking an intensive Dutch language course but will be back tomorrow! Thank goodness!

I'm sorry Blushing (((hugs))). I know my friend met a ton of women through a mommy-and-me type thing. What about the other parents from J's drama class (wait... that was you, right?)? Or... just come up to Edinburgh and hang out with me!
I'm alright today. Day 2 of unrelenting rain and cold and ridiculousness. I hate Scotland sometimes, seriously. I really have to get motivated to go running but there are literal rivers running down the street. Grumble.

Thanks Pitt. That is where all my friends came from - the baby groups. We were all breastfeeding Moms. My BFF and I met at our loony group aka our Post Natal Depression group. We tease that we get along so well because we are both loony. She moved to Taunton last year, which is 2 hours away by car and we don't have a car. I am going to see her on Sunday and then we going there for a week in a few weeks time. That will cheer me up and is always loads of fun, but its not the same as her living in the same town as me. J's drama group is on school hoildays and then when he goes back to school 4 days a week so he won't going back to that class.
. That reminds me I need to find him a new drama group for Fridays, thanks. All the the friends that I have tried to make lately all come from the kids groups, they just so difficult to crack and I have really been putting myself out there lately.
Not much on the plan today. Laundry and reading and waiting for word. My BFF's husband had surgery to remove a 4-inch tumor from his parotid gland -- I'm waiting on word to see how it went.
QOTD: Jan. 16, we've been married a little over a year and a half.
Afternoon! We went shopping with my mum this morning for groceries and a few things for E. The rest od today is devoted to cleaning the oven (done) and microwave (half done) it's hard with a LO who isn't into napping in hr PnP but on you!

I am so incredibly sore today from Tuesday's workout that I'm not sure I can make it tonight. I can't sit down normally, so not sure I can do heavy weight lifting with good form.
QOTD: We've been together for 2 years at the end of May. Our wedding is on Oct. 1, but we aren't sure when we can do the civil wedding in Italy, so I don't know when that anniversary will be. Hopefully Sept. 30.

QOTD: We got married December 30th, 2010. Everything was booked on New Year's Eve and apparently it's bad luck to get married on a Friday (according to old Italian ladies) so Thursday it was! Civil cermony was April 30th, 2010. Legally speaking we are no longer newly weds!
So is Thursday, which is how we ended up accidentally getting married on 09-09-09 (a Wednesday)

It was a New Years Eve Party...married for just over 7 months
We were married on Tuesday...for health apparently
. I choose that day because it was a couple days after we had been in the US and I had a hair app't on Monday and of course my hair had to look hot for our wedding, even though it was only in a court house.
