What's your favorite place in the city to get a good, old-fashioned burger? Any kind of burger: upscale, fast-food, beef, vegetarian, plain, with cheese, or so loaded with toppings you can barely take a bite.

I love to go to a pub on the UES, Finnegan's Wake. They make a Bacon Cheeseburger that is to die for. Juicy, thick, no fillers or other crap. Decent bun. Their bacon is thick and crispy and bacon-y.
Don't put my burger on an english muffin, I may throw it back at you.

For fast-food: Five Guys. Add cheese and some tomato.
For local burger in Forest Hills: Bonfire Grill. Bacon, goat cheese, and caramelized onions.
