I finally bought my first groupon! It's for a bike tune-up for the bike shop down the street from me! I'm bringing my bike in today! I am overly excited about this because it is a half-off deal and my bike really needs a tune-up!
One of Dh's best friends is coming tonight from Texas. They grew up together and they haven't seen eachother in about 7 years. It should be a fun couple of days!
I'm off today and I'm going shopping with my mom. Should be fun!

Morning! I'm going to sneak in and say hi. I miss you guys! Work is still crazy but my mom had a successful surgery and is doing a lot better.
Today's highlight - Thai food for lunch with BFF. Or maybe it's the first day this week that I've had time for lunch? Either way. Tonight, I *should* run 4 miles, but I'd *rather* go to our wine club pick up party. Might attempt both... I guess showing up to the wine bar a sweaty mess is better than 4 miles after wine tasting!

Nothing bad happened yesterday
I am EFFING STOKED that Football is starting today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to jump up and hug EVERYONE and throw confetti and shotgun a beer..... but I think those things are against company policy and not HR appropriate. And it's only 23 days until I get to watch my Huskies play! Cheers!

Yea for Friday Eve!! I am home today... Doped up on Lorazepam from an MRI I just had. I am going to attempt to make Cake Pops today for the first time... I hope they turn out! I forgot the styrofoam to stand them up in to dry.
I also learned today that not only am I a big ol' wuss when it comes to getting in the MRI - I also throw up the contrast dye. I guess I love to make a spectacle!
therickson - do you have an empty egg container? You can flip it over so the little cups are pointing down and then poke holes in each cup to stick the cake pop in while it dries.
Today is actually my Friday. 3-day week this week! We're going camping tomorrow. Since our friend is a bum and decided to take a job that moved him to Austin (just because it was a strategic move in his industry AND was pay too good to pass up, whatevER
), he won't be hosting our annual camping trip in August outside Sedro-Wooley. So H organized a camping trip over near Cle Elum (sp?) this weekend so hopefully we can watch the Perseid meteor shower. Lots of packing to do tonight.
ooh! this is awesome! I have yet to make cake pops, but really want to try them in the near future.

Omg, this week is the busiest week EVER! I haven't taken a real break all day and I'm on lunch and people are trying to have work conversations with me! It never stops! But thank God, because I have bills to pay!
