Amy Butler Laminated fabric ?
Has anyone used this? What is your experience. I am new at sewing. I want to make a lunch bag for my niece for her birthday. I think this material would be the easier to clean. I am seriously worried about sewing with it as I am so new at sewing. any tips would be appreciated!
Thanks.

Re: Amy Butler Laminated fabric ?
I second the tips on Amy Butler's site. I've sewn with her laminate. Longer stitches are a good idea.
And you cannot pin the fabric in place or it will leave little holes. Get a bunch of binder clips from your office store and use those instead. Make sure they are big enough to clip all layers.
Tell the end user that drying is not recommended.
And, just so you know, it is about $17.50 per yard.
PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
You can get PUL fabric significantly cheaper if you look.
Amy Butler PUL? That is good to know
I've only used it once and the price was keeping me from using it again.
