potential move update
I know I alluded to a possible move to DC and we have fially decided, after almost a month of negotiations, to decline the offer. Short of the story is S's name was passed on by an old co-worker who has some connections (a little unbeknownst to us) and was offered two jobs, 1 in NC 1 in DC, both of which are up his alley, but neither really struck him as "perfect." The NC job was declined immediately, but the DC job had some potential, however they simply didn't offer enough incentive for us to move.
So, we are in NE for the time being and finally we can start getting a room ready for 2.0 and relaxing back into our home.
Thanks for all the vibes you ladies gave me/us through the "possible move" debate. And, as always, visitors welcome to NE!

Kinda Happy. I would love to be on the coast, but between selling the house, Anders and being pregnant, plus S wasn't in love with the job, staying put is a better idea for us right now.
Plus you will have to come to Omaha sometime! I know, I know, we need to get to KC at some point....maybe November! Suddenly things got nuts, Denver next weekend, another trip in October (not sure where yet, probably towards one of S's offices), central Iowa for S's PE test end of October, FL in early November, oh yeah, then a baby....
Glad you guys are fine with staying put for a little while longer. Hopefully something better will come by and maybe put you back in VT!
We will definitely come to Omaha again. Maybe next fall. We have a few trips planned ourselves so we are trying to save our money. Plus our best local friends got engaged a couple days ago and we are all 3 in the wedding.
