Possible GTG Dates
The last GTG I planned in April was at Carrabba's in Novi. I think it turned out pretty well, so I'm thinking that'd be a good place to have this one as well. They'll allow us to do separate checks and they have a long high-top table in the bar for parties, etc. It accommodates up to 20 people, so I think that should be sufficient. I just called and all of the following dates are available. The guy said that 6:00 is the best time for them scheduling/shift wise so I'm thinking probably right at 6:00pm. If anyone can't make it until a bit later, then they can just meet us whenever is good for them.
I'm feeling inspired to get this thing rolling... so here are some possible dates that work well for me and are available at the restaurant:
Wednesday, 8/24
Thursday, 8/25
Monday, 8/29
Tuesday, 8/30
If you're interested in coming, just let me know which of those dates would and wouldn't work out for you. I'll take a look at all the responses and figure out which night works out for the most people.

But more importantly, I would like to know what is up with people that are coming out of the woodwork about the GTG, but are not posting in general. Come on peeps, the board doesn't make itself interesting.

I came out of the woodwork for a GTG because I've noticed the board dying down and thought that maybe attending a GTG would help me post more often since I'd know the other people on the board. I do try to respond to posts but I have a hard time starting a post unless I have a question. I don't have a good explaination for this.
That's a good point. I've only been to two GTG's, but after I went to the first one I felt more comfortable posting and talking to people because I felt like I knew them better.
I'm late on this, but any of those dates work for me. I'll probably be late to the party though, since I work in Ann Arbor and can't leave until 5, have to go get the car, etc. etc.
If any fellow A2 nesties want to carpool, I'd be happy to!
