Ok girls...I try not to vent on here too much but I need to get some things off my chest because I am stressing. I go back to school/work next week and worked in my classroom on Mon. and Tues. I started coming down with a cold on Mon and now have a bad cold so today I am staying at home and resting. I was supposed to go to an outdoor theater I go to with my mom and her cousin every week (over the summer...tonight is the last show for this season) tonight but am not feeling up to it. It is Bye Bye Birdie too which I haven't seen in 12 years and is one of my favorite shows. Also, my period is MIA. It was due Sun. or Mon and I took a test today and it was negative. I stopped BC on Monday b.c. we are starting to TTC. I am scared to take anything for this cold (I know I am paranoid but can't help it) with my period MIA and am having DH pick up Tylenol and a new thermometer (mine said 107 today which I know was not right) on his way home. My period has only been late or off once in 18 years and that was in Dec and I had been stressed. I am thinking stress is contributing now. Thanks for reading. I'll take any vibes you want to send. I know this is minor in the grand scheme of life but it is enough to be causing me stress!!!
Re: Stressed!
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.
Agreed! I think that the stress is affecting your period and especially since you just went off BC your body probably just needs to get used to not having those constant hormones. There was one time that I was in between insurance carriers and was off BC for a month and my period didn't come at all. I had to take a pill to jumpstart it so I could start a new pack. So it probably just is your body adjusting - add in the stress you've got right now - voila! no period!
I hope you feel better!! Rest up
Sorry you're stressed, I agree with the other girls that the stress and going off BC probably just delayed your period.
Hope today is better than yesterday (I'm late to this post!)
awe...hope you feel better soon!!!
