Re: Some entertainment for your afternoon (somewhat pr/br)

  • I've only read the first page and a half. Does she eventually come back and give the reason? That'd be the only decent incentive to continue reading LOL

  • Someone "thinks" they found her thread on another message board on pg 8

  • I just got done reading that a little bit ago.  Best.thread.ever.  Someone finds something towards the end.  Maybe page 11?

I skimmed that one. Golden Corral as a wedding reception, but not because her pretty princess day is going to come later. Dear Lord.

That side thread was almost better than the original.  I love that she asked if she could charge her guests for their food at the reception.

  • Ha!  This is sort of like the episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia when Mac dates that super pro-life chick who tells him she's pregnant to test him.  God I love that show.

I must be really dense. I don't get how that would be a thing to test even? From a guy's point of view it might be important since a woman can go get an abortion without his knowledge, but no guy can force a woman to get an abortion. And if someone is willing to lie in order to catch somebody else in a lie, then......Yeah, I think I need to drop it.

  • Because if he tells her he's pro-life, her test is to say she's pregnant to see if he'll suggest an abortion.  He suggests abortion, she dumps him because he's not pro-life.  The show was basically Mac being a douchebag because, well, they're all douchebags on that show, as well as a show to make fun of crazy pro-life rally people.  And I think that whole thread is people telling her she's a douche because she would lie to someone about being pregnant.

Oh, and the reason I related it to the Sunny episode is because it came out later in the thread that someone found something that led them to believe that she wanted a positive pregnancy test to "test" the guy's pro-lifeness.  Is that what you were asking?  lol Maybe I'm the dense one.

Um I LOVE It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and I love that episode! Too funny! Quoting it to anyone who doesn't watch the show probably comes off sounding really bad though lol. I can't wait till the new season starts in a couple of months!

lol Yes, definitely!  I guess those examples aren't good to use if people don't understand what complete morons/jerks/aholes the characters are.  I love the show, but I have to admit that I haven't really watched past the fourth season.  I'm a Sunny failure.
