Flame Free Thursday Confessions
vent away!
mine is: i understand why women have their second child before their first child turns 2. i love my son...but i don't like him very much when he is acting horribly. he is such a good boy most of the time...but take something away from him or tell him no, and it's meltdown city. i do not like this. i want it to be over. i dont know if i'm not doing a good job at parenting (in terms of discipline)...but he literally laughs at me when i tell him no. grrrrr

Re: Flame Free Thursday Confessions
I just bought a bunch of stuff from Pier 1 yesterday for my birthday party and intend on taking like 75% off the stuff back after I use it lol.
First weight loss goal - 40lbs... DONE! Second weight loss goal - 17lbs...
I feel like I can't make true confessions because co-workers were May 08 brides. I don't know if they ever used the Nest, but I'm afraid to rant just in case they lurk.
I think I'm too mean to my H. In a joking way, but it's all the time and I can't stop. He never says anything about it, but I always get these "woah, that was mean" thoughts.
Example:
We had to go to the ER the other night b/c he was having severe stomach pains and I couldn't stop making fun of him. He looked like he was in labor with all his stomach grabbing and pain faces so I told him to breathe "hee hee hooo, hee hee hooo..." His response was "Oh, that's funny", but he didn't laugh and I felt really mean. I should have been taking care of him and I was making fun of him!
(BTW - he's fine - no clue what was wrong - they gave him antibiotics and he's fine now).
I just bought the shirt I am wearing today and am wearing it for the first time and I hate it so I plan to wash it and take it back and tell them it shrank or something lol.

I have bouts of rage lately. I get SO worked up. Nothing involving the kids (can you believe this? lol yay antidepressants), but like driving or calling customer service lines, or people in the grocery. Omg, sometimes I feel like I want to rip their heads off. Ugh... I swear this world is just so full of STUPID people. See... rage.
I fully judged a mom today at playgroup. Three of us were sitting at the little kitchen table feeding our kids. She took out some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and just threw them down in front of the kids. I mean, literally threw them down - *plop* I felt especially bad for the 1.5 year old trying to eat the full sized unsliced sandwich and then the mom got annoyed with her for not eating it. :-/
I just had 3 hot dogs for dinner. Its left over night, but I ate the left overs for lunch. Therefore, hot dogs.
I really don't have a great one today.
This definitely wouldn't get flames from me even in a non-flame-free post. Hot dogs are good.
Well it could have been any number of slightly more healthy options. Hot dogs and weight loss don't quite go hand in hand.
ok first one I am with you on this and pretty sure it's everywhere but Louisiana people have no manners. I got cut off for the 3rd time waiting in the car line at starbucks and honked and had a rage..she backed up haha but I find it everywhere! Grocery stores, eating out, customer service on the phone (let's not talk about drive thru), drivers...everything and I blow up so easily with road rage anymore. Maybe i'm sick of the hour commute for 15 miles
And I'm not judging anyone because I haven't gotten into it that much yet but aren't you supposed to try and wait unitl a child is 2 before peanut butter because of severe allergies? It could be younger not sure.
And even if the baby wasn't 1.5 and was like 10 how hard is it to slice a sandwich in half or four's before putting it into the bag to make it easier? ugh
