internship and end of school!
I rented a car and drove three hours south-east yesterday to interview for an internship at a sweet museum for January. I landed it! It's unpaid (it has to be for me to graduate) but it's at a really fancy conservation lab. I'm completely thrilled! I'll have to move away from Matt for 15 weeks while I work there, but hopefully it will go by quickly.
I also finish school in just two days. (YAY!!!!!) I'm supposed to be studying for two final exams for tomorrow, but I seriously don't GIVE A FLYING @&@!# anymore!!! After 3 consecutive semesters of 6 day weeks, I fizzled out just two days before we finish. Oh well. For whatever reason, I'm just not bothered. I'm physically and mentally exhausted. Oh... and 20 lbs heavier than when I started this programme (and, no, it's not from 20 lbs of information being driven into my brain).
So I'll be very glad to finally be able to get a job between now and my internship, and to get my life and my body back. Even yesterday I woke up 30 min early and went for a run. I haven't had the time to do that in almost a year. It felt great, and it hurts today (a good hurt of course).
I just had to share my happiness.

Hopefully the awesomeness of the internship makes up for the no pay. But it sounds like things are going really well for you.
