So the countdown is officially on. One hour from now and I am no longer employed.
Even though it was my choice to resign, it is still a strange feeling. I'm a sentimental person so no matter how excited I am to sleep in tomorrow and get caught up with the rest of my life, I still feel a bit sad with all of the goodbye's today.
Now I just need to figure out what I want to do next. Hmmm....
Re: Last hour at my job...
I am sure your DD will keep you busy.
When did you decide to resign? I remember that you posted that you wanted to cut down on your hours. Your company didnt want to cut you some slack?

Pineapples, I'm fighting my inner-control freak of a self. I've always, my entire life, had a plan. Plans, plans, plans. Now there is no plan and I really want to enjoy every second of it, but it will be a challenge for me.
Dulce and Pitt, I gave my notice a month ago (since I have a 1 month notification period). They did cut me down to 4 days, but with my 16-20hrs a week of Dutch plus H and DD it was still too much. Plus the 1 day I was off was often stressful because I was being called constantly when there were problems and the next day at work was always a mess.
ReidsGirl, No plan yet. Stay home with DD for a few months, go to the US for 2 weeks, a trip here for a week, study my Dutch, and possible start studying for a GMAT.

Good Luck! It sounds like you are going to be busy. I know what you mean about having a plan for everything. I hate my 20's because after college, I really didnt know what to do. I just completed my Masters and now I feel like I am back at square one. Would you guys consider moving back to the States.
I missed this too. Good for you! I go back to work full time soon and can't imagine doing that with language school on top of that. Honestly, I'm already anxious about balancing work and home life. Also, yay for a trip to the states!
Dulce I know the feeling. I always thought that I'd know exactly what my 'dream job' would be, but I just don't. There are a lot of things that I don't want to do, haha, but I know it's going to be a process before I get it figured out.
Alwyzbzy, Best of luck with going back to work! When do you start? It's definitely a transition but if you're prepared and organized then it isn't nearly as bad.
