. I feel so bad for the OP. I mean, I know as girls we say "oh she's just PMS-ing" and I know it can make you act weird, but really, I feel like it only enhances your 'normal' character and it's still never an excuse. The pg/bride girl is probably just actually like that.
However, this did remind me that I was going to make a wedding present. I actually designed the monogram for this wedding 
Which I feel gives me some sort of craft 'advantage' because I could personalize something for them. What would you do? I also just realized that after all the hard work I did to make our monogram, I never did anything else with it... but it would be nice I guess. Maybe it's stupid, all I can think of are things like towels etc and I've never felt the need for that. Maybe one of you has something I haven't thought of?

Things i think of with monograms:
stationery -- ty notes, everyday stationery, paper embosser w/monogram only or for return address/envelope flaps (or stamp version of any of these)
towels (bathroom, kitchen)
linens (top sheet, pillow cover)
door knocker/door mat
sign/hanging at entry (etched mirror, etc.)

what a biznatch. seriously. poor OP. i think the stress of wedding planning + being knocked up had an affect on her...but i don't think any "normal" person would say that thing, even when ktfu/wedding jitters. she's got to have a little something wrong with her to begin with.
h and i didn't want monogram stuff because we knew we wouldn't ever use it. me esp... i've always hated my name...jennifer. seriously. me and 27million other people have the same name...so i was never attached to it. i don't care if something has the letter j on it.
but if your friend had asked you to design a monogram for her wedding, obviously, she likes the monogram look....so i think a gift with monogram would be nice. you can use cdmay's suggestions

That was super shiity what the OP's friend said to her. I would be super pissed.
We had a monogram, but I never did anything with it. I figured it was just a wedding thing and that was it.
However, etched wine glasses would be fun. Oh, or if you can track down a bottle of their wedding wine and etch that with the monogram that would be super cute too.

I don't have to do it btw, obviously I never thought twice about using ours again, just was wondering if there was something I could do since I have the monogram. Oh! Husky, your suggestion reminds me, they're actually getting married at a winery! Hmm... now I have to think about this.
