I really wanna sew!
Ya know how you go through phases, where sometimes you just really don't feel like crafting, and sometimes you could just go for days? Well, I really, really just want to quilt. Not sew bags, not sew anything else, just quilt.
What have I been doing instead, you ask? Typing recipes for my husband's grandmother. For the last two days. lol It's been fun, and I've been getting a TON of great recipes out of the deal, but I really just want to sew! I have also been working a lot in the garden...I dug up 14 lbs of carrots tonight!
Just need to get through one more day of recipe work with Grammy, then one days of party preparing, then Lily's SECOND birthday party on Sunday. Eeeek! Kind of bittersweet. I love that she's turning two and she can do so much, but I thought she'd have a sibling by now. 
Anyway, this was totally random and not really CR, but I just wanted to say HI and tell you I'm still around!

There is NO WAY that Lily can be two soon, though- that means MY BABY is two soon! Eeek! I am sending lots of sickeningly sweet sticky wishes your way. I really, really, really want this little soul to be the one!
And if your child is about to be two, that means we need a new siggy pic, woman! That one is from LAST YEAR!
I am going to a quilter's quild meeting next Thursday, so I'll get to sew from noon-6pm. It will be AWESOME.
On the Gummy bear...I have been SICK. I have never been this sick when I've been pregnant, so hopefully that's a good sign!

There must be something that happens in our brains - chemically - that we want what we can't have....
We went away for our anniversary this weekend - drove five hours for a mediocre trip...but enjoyed the countryside and animals (deer and racoons)... All weekend, I wanted to be home and crafting. Last week, I didn't want to go near the stuff...
I have two weeks left of unemployment... and then school starts up again...I like being calm and relaxed from start to finish...
Anywho - gummy hang in there!!! We are all hoping, wishing, crossing fingers, and sending you, Thess517, strength, courage, and love!!!
