Re: Happy Friday! Weekend plans?
I know this month is completely flying by!! I'm excited because I love the fall!!
Today we are cleaning and just playing. No major plans for the weekend since we got hit with our car insurance bill (we pay in full so it's a bit of a hit) and I just had to pay all my motor vehicle fees on my new car for the next 4 years. That was a 1k hit-ugh! But at least it's done with!
Tomorrow we will probably go swimming and Sunday we have my nephews 4th Birthday party!
Hope everyone has a good weekend!
I'm getting ready to head to pre-op...I think I have to give blood again. Blah. Work should be really quiet today since only two of us are in the office, so I'll spend the rest of the day catching up and preparing for being gone all next week. I'm meeting my mom and sis tonight to go to an OKC Redhawks game [yay AAA baseball!], then we're spending the night in OKC.
Tomorrow is my sister's birthday lunch, then we'll do some shopping. I thought about spending the night again in OKC, but I will probably just go back to Stillwater because I'm nowhere near being packed for next week's recovery at home OR Vegas.
Sunday will be more packing and cleaning. Surgery is bright and early on Monday morning [7:10am; at hospital by 6am], so I'll probably head to bed early and try to get some sleep. We'll see how that goes.
Crazy how time is flying!!
This weekend will comprise of me resting and trying to get better. i.e. the bare minimum will get done around here. I feel terrible today
I'm finishing up organizing my Scentsy office this morning and then I'm headed up to my classroom to get things started in there. Today is my last official day of vacation.
I'm ready to be back but I'm also not ready. Next week I start working out at 4:30 am so, that should be....fun?

Sono showed no baby and teeny tiny sac. Waiting to M/C naturally.
after 2 busy weekends where we took a trip i am looking forward to just relaxing. we don't have anything planned. i will probably just take the dog to the dog park, work on my couch 25k running, and play our soccer game sunday afternoon.
i also need to do laundry BAD and pack because next weekend we are going to Dallas TX to visit family for 5 days. YAY vacation, especially since room/board is pretty much covered. after that no more travel plans for the rest of the year (yet).
Tonight we're going to a friend's "Beginning of the End of the Summer" party. We're psyched because their last party was awesome.
Saturday I work in the morning and E might brew. In the afternoon I have to get to the cleaners to pick up my dress and to my hairdresser for a cut and color.
Sunday is my friend's wedding all day. I'm skeptical about the food quality and whether there will be alcohol and good music, but I'm psyched to be part of his wedding and party with him. And my sis/BIL will be there, and other friends.

So glad it's mid-August. We need the summer to be over already!
Mom is still here. All our chores and grocery shopping for the week has been done. She makes me so efficient.
Today we're making a chicken pot pie to put in the freezer and working on drying out Nate's poor chapped bottom, with hour increments of naked time in the kitchen. He peed on the floor at least 6 times so far and once in the training potty (yay!!). That's why we're doing naked time on tile and not carpet.
Rodgers is working 12 hours today.
Dad will arrive tonight and spend the night with us. They'll go home tomorrow after lunch. Rodgers works his usual shift, and Nate and I will have a quiet evening of teething and throwing fits. I don't remember his first set of molars being so rough.
Nothing special for Sunday.
We are going to a cookout with some friends from church. I am sad this will be our last get together as a group. Our church campus is being consolidated with the larger campus and many of us are not moving over to the bigger church.
On Saturday I am taking Will to one of his friend's birthday party. Then we will probably hang out by the pool.
On Sunday, we are going to visit a new church. I hope to do some relaxing on Sunday afternoon.
We're headed to Philly tonight for the weekend, for an 8 year olds birthday then off to Gettysburg tomorrow, because it's going to be an educational birthday party. So it should be fun.
The adults are going out to South Street tonight so that's even better

South Street is definitely better than Gburg, lol! Still can't believe I won't be in town to meet up.
Tonight: Carly's weigh-in and packing
Tomorrow: Leaving for my parents' early, might go to the zoo (more like a petting zoo) for the afternoon, hopefully low-key evening at home. As low-key as you can get with 8 adults - one that is 36 weeks pregnant - a 2yo, an infant and three dogs in one place.
Sunday: visiting friends whose second son was born in June on our way home. Then the regular chores, yuck. Maybe an hour to relax?!
Oh, and hopefully rest and get over this cold. Yeah right.
Tonight, staying in...figuring out what's for dinner. Having a couple cocktails.
Tomorrow, not sure really. I may try to get out. Maybe the three of us will. Kind of lowkey.
Sunday, going to barre at some point...I can finally wash my hair (got it straightened last night, can't wash for 72 hours) and haven't been able to exercise since yesterday. Exciting huh? H bought me a facial and massage at a spa, I may see if I can get an appt...
Tomorrow - hang out around the house, do some cleaning, watch movies and that's about it.
Sunday - church and dinner at my parents.
