Have you ever tried Zumba? I noticed you do Jazzercize...my friend Ashley teaches at the Benson Community Center sometimes, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30. I've never been but have wanted to go, and would love a partner! It's $5 per class.

I could do Tuesday's (E has dance on Thursday's starting in a couple weeks) and would so join you!

If you ladies have never done zumba, it is an absolute trip! My friends teached in GI, and I laughed my head off trying to do her class. She's this teeny little firecracker who knows exactly what she's doing. I'm this baby giraffe who spent the entire class staring at the reflection of the least coordinated and least sexy woman in the history of the world. (I also decided my shorts were terribly unflattering and promptly threw them out.)
Great time though. I highly suggest going with a friend and being prepared to laugh at yourself pretty hard.
I do Zumba at Prairie Life and love it! It is pricey for that gym though so thinking about ending my membership.
Does the Benson place let you prepay each month or do you pay $5 per time? I live close so would definetly consider going!
I love Zumba and def need to get back into going...I went at least 3 times a week all winter and now haven't been since April
. I would check the Zumba of Omaha facebook page b/c they have specials and info for a bunch of different places there. I go to 2 different locations (when I did it) but I am in Bellevue: Bob's Gym (formerly Powerhouse) and FitnessFast off 25th and Capehart. Also, it really depends on your instructor just like any fitness class and don't watch the videos and try to do it at home! I hated the videos compared to class b/c its almost all Latin music on the videos and when you go to class most instructors will do songs that are popular on the radio or you might have heard them before at least
