One of the guys at baseball last night had never heard of Rebecca Black, so of course one of the other guys pulled up "Friday" on his phone. Yeah, that was stuck in my head for the rest of the night.
Yay weekend!! Tonight Derek is staying late at work to help one of the others tradesmen do some flooring work at his own house (yay side jobs!) so I'll be home getting ready for the weekend. Tomorrow we're going to one of our friends 30th birthday's up at a beach 3 hours north-west of where we live, so I'm going to bring margarita cupcake, which means I have to make them tonight. We're meeting up with Tim and Shannon at Shannon's parents place first tomorrow so the boys can go for a ride and then we'll carpool, which means I'll get a few fun hours of playing with the girls.
Sunday after the long drive home we're heading back into Toronto so Derek can start installing floor at my stepsister's new house (yay side jobs!). I have a feeling I'm going to need a weekend to get over my weekend.

My weekend is busy, busy, busy.
I work until 6pm tonight and then we are going to move a few small things over to the new house. DH will be at the new house today to let in the carpet cleaners. My friend's birthday was yesterday and she wants to go out for a quick drink tonight so I'm going to try and stop by for an hour but I have to work tomorrow morning at 7am.
Saturday and Sunday are both 7-3 shifts (with Sunday on call) and then more moving. I'm feeling really anxious about all the messiness right now. I know it's a part of moving but I really need everything to be in it's place.

Morning, all! I'm pretty excited for this weekend. Tonight we're going to our favorite Cuban restaurant for our anniversary dinner. Tomorrow, we're picking up our anniversary cake. I am a little bit nervous about this--last year's cake was made by our wedding cake baker, so it was an exact, awesome replica. This year's is from a local D.C. baker who gets good reviews, but I'm still nervous. Their sales person wasn't the most personable, but I went with them because I was running out of time (and they're also pretty close to our apartment).
Sunday we're going to try to go for a nice walk. Throughout the weekend we'll try to get to the gym and do some other chores/errands. But it should be a nice one.

Tomorrow, I'd like to go to the farmer's market, but I would need to go super early because we have tickets to see Uncle Vanya at the Kennedy Center. We don't usually go to a matinee, so this is throwing off my Saturday a bit. Then we need to get groceries.
Sunday is a work thing at my boss's house. I don't want to go, but I have to and I'm making Jim go with me. Family dinner is Sunday night.
Somewhere in there, we need to clean house a bit and do some laundry. I may try to get the laundry done when I get home today. Also, I need to go buy new jeans. The ones I have developed a hole.

In between I hope to get in a good run or two, and study for an exam I am taking.
TGIF! I'm back in the office today, but completely dragging so I might try to head out early. My throat is still pretty sore, and I'm afraid it's starting to spread into something bigger. I was planning on doing drinks after work with some friends, but I might pass on that and just have a quiet night at home.
Tomorrow, no plans during the day but trying to organize a poker night at our flat in the evening. I love to play, and it's been ages, so I'm hoping that pans out.
No plans for Sunday, but since my parents are coming to visit early next week (yay!!) we'll probably do some prep for that.

Tonight and tomorrow we have our childbirth classes. Not sure what tomorrow evening will bring. Maybe Anniversary celebration. Sunday, we will work a little more on the nursery. We need to paint and carpet before the furniture is delivered in 3 weeks.

Happy Friday ladies! V suggested going for a picnic at the park tomorrow as our anniversary celebration so I'm looking forward to that. Sunday I think we'll try to go to church for the first time in weeks. My brother and his gf are coming over for lunch and my parents are coming over for dinner.
I'm not so used to our families visiting us ALL the time...

My office is dead today so I'm hoping to sneak out around 11:30 and get a pedicure before we head out of town. We're going to Buena Vista for a weekend with J's entire extended family. I can't wait to go white water rafting and hiking.

TGIF Ladies,
Last night was uneventful. After the boys went to bed, I put away laundry and watched BB. (yes I am a sap for it). Then I passed out.
This weekend, Ryan is working most of it. He has tonight off, but he may or may not be going to a friends surprise birthday party. Otherwise it will be the boys and I all weekend, playing outside.....wagon rides, slides, cozy coupes, etc. I am going to attempt to bring them for haircuts bright and early tomorrow morning.
So if anyone is in the southern maine area this weekend and feels like playing outside with the boys and I, feel free to stop by. Ha ha

No huge plans here. Low key night tonight. Tomorrow we're headed out for some errands and to find a chest freezer. My dad sent us entirely way to much fish and I'm sick of the avalanche everytime I open the doors!
Sunday will be spent packing DH up for a work trip. They're flying him to Dallas for dinner and a meeting then sending him straight to Alaska. I really wish his company would embrace video conferences!
So glad it's Friday. Today I'm going to force myself to start the project I need to get working on. After work, we'll pick something up for dinner and then DH has a softball game. I'll likely stay home and do laundry because I'll be busy this weekend.
Tomorrow morning, I'll be going to Target and BRU to pick up gifts for this weekend's parties. Two of my cousins are having birthday parties for their kids. I decided to go to the cousin I'm closest with although I think the other cousin will be hurt. In all fairness, my close cousin told me to save the date way before I knew about the other cousin's party.
Sunday morning I'll get some cleaning done. In the afternoon I'm going to a baby shower for a good friend. I'm so excited for her and can't wait to celebrate with everyone. After the shower I'll probably finish cleaning whatever I didn't finish in the morning. Have a great weekend ladies!

I'm glad it's Friday! I love weekends, having Paul around to help with baby and dogs and everything is so nice.
This weekend we are having some friends over who haven't met Noah yet. We also have some shopping to do. I can't wait til Tuesday - we get to meet our friends' baby who was born about a week ago!
