The ambiance in the restaurant is really nice. I has a very interesting rugged barn type vibe.
As for food and service
The wait staff was a bit over crowding. The restaurant wasn?t very full and I felt that our waiter was badgering us a bit to make a decision on items from drinks to food. We were hoping to take our time and catch up with a friend and have a good time. It felt very rushed to make a decision about what wine I wanted to what food I was ordering. Up to the point that the server came to our table and said we had better get our order in or else a larger table would be ahead of us. I walked by the table on entering the restaurant it was a table of 6. It wasn?t a busy night and I could see everyone from where I sat.
We placed our order for an appetizer of the veal sweet breads, and our entrees chicken schnitzel and pork done 3 ways.
The veal sweetbreads were fantastic. They were my favorite part of the dinner. The pork done 3 ways looked amazing and I was told by Dh that it was delicious. My Chicken was good but not something I would order again. Maybe it was my never having schnitzel before but it was like a giant chicken tender.
Overall the veal sweetbreads was the best part of the night but was overshadowed by serving staff.
I don?t think I will ever go back. It wasn?t a cheap night and the service left a bad memory.
