thoughts on Val Kilmer as Governor?
Sorry I've been away since the election - was traveling for work.
Anyway, I heard this on the radio this morning - does anyone care?

Re: thoughts on Val Kilmer as Governor?
my read shelf:
Jim Morrison? What a mess. I wouldn't vote for him.
blech. I heard he couldn't get any acting gigs for years because he had a reputation of being a prima donna on so many sets. I can't imagine what an a$$ he'd be in public office.
meredith -
you have a PM
I honestly didn't even know he was interested in politics or politically inclined.
Must google and see what's up...
DH will hate this! He has an unnatural hatred for Val Kilmer.
What are his politics? Is he a Dem? I don't know why I assume that, there aren't any famous Dems in office now (poor Al Franken).
I seem to recall that he once told an interviewer that while filming The Doors, he felt Jim Morrison's spirit inhabit his body and he became - really became - Jim Morrison.
We have enough batshit crazy politicos as it is, so I vote
.
I'd buy that - he was fuckingawesome as Jim Morrison!
Anything you can achieve through hard work, you could also just buy.
Unfortunately he wants to be governor of my state - New Mexico. And no, just NO! I don't care what party he belongs to, I think it's ridiculous.
He's had bad press here also, for saying something along the lines of everyone in Northern New Mexico is drunk. It's been a few years and I can't recall the specifics, but there was a bit of an uproar about it.
He's going to have a few years to think about it though, because even if Richardson leaves (fingers crossed), the lieutenant governor gets to finish his term.
few = two for the purposes of this post. Duh.
