The other night we went out to dinner with our friends and their 4 1/2 year old daughter. She wanted to ride with us and on the way to the restaurant she said "I'm getting tall! I'm almost up to my mom's boobs!"
Without missing a beat I said,"maybe next year you'll be up to your dad's!"
Her dad didn't think it was funny but DH and I had a good laugh.
Damn You Auto Correct! is my go-to site for funny stuff. The best ones are when parents are involved.
I was getting Mere dressed this morning. She started freaking out about the shirt I grabbed.
Mere: "Not dat one! Not dat shirt! It bites my nose!"
Me: ....uh? What?
Mere: "It bites my noooose!!!!"
I figured it out. The neck is snug and hurts her nose when I put it on/take it off. I stretched it out and it was fine. I couldn't stop laughing at her way of communicating that it hurt her nose, though
)
Caleb wandered into the kitchen while I was making lunch, with a blow-up travel neck pillow around his head like a halo, and said, "Wouldja like ta try on my moose ears?"
