Are you nervous about your marathon in Oct? Yes! How's training going? Training is going well and I actually find myself looking forward to my long runs (once a week on weekends/Fridays I have off).

What's your favorite thing about living in Chicago? Having options (plenty of things to do, places to eat and shop), but also really not having to drive everywhere

Do you think you'll get a second dog ever? I hope so! However, unless we move out of the city, I think it'd be too hard to have 2 dogs in an apt/condo. But....while I'd love a big dog (Bermese Mtn Dog, Golden retriever, Newfounland, etc), I am rooting for a French bulldog b/c I think we could handle that and a bulldog in an apt.

How far do you run when you train? It ranges since I'm following a training schedule right now (developed by Hal Higdon, a big runner). Typically in a week I run 4-5 times: two 3-4 mile runs, one "mid-long" run: 5-7 miles, and a long-a$$ run: last week it was 14.4m next wk it's 16 (that keeps increasing until I get to 20mi). The mid-long runs are increasing too.

Tell me about your (swedish was it?) heritage. Does your family cook any traditional foods? Yep! I'm mostly Swedish (Dad's side) and Polish (mom's side). Unfortunately we/my grandparents don't cook any traditional foods. However, my office is very ethnically diverse. A few guys in my group are from Polish, so they'll occassionally bring in polish baked goods or convince use to go out for Polish cuisine

Peanut butter: smooth or creamy? I'm guessing you meant smooth or *crunchy*, lol; but smooth!

Fav ice cream flavor? Green mint chocolate chip

Bad habits/vices? I often forget to brush my teeth before bed and am terrible at flossing on a regular basis. I supposed this is somewhat a vice(/OCD), but all of the light switches must be flipped down (instead of up; we have several switches that control the same lights) before bed or leaving the apt. I also "peel" my nails, which is why I try to keep them painted.

If money/time was not a factor, tell me about your dream vacation. Ooo, probably a European tour including Sweden, Poland, Amsterdam, Paris, several cities in Italy; ending with a villa in Greece on the water.
