I mentioned in the Friday post that this was not a good morning... I should start off by saying that I realize of the two of us, I should have been nicer, and in general we're both exhausted. He has nigh shift right now in the ER so we last saw each other Wed evening when he left. I had a 14hr experiment day yesterday so I was gone the whole time he was home and tired. He called last night and said (instead of see you later) "see you in bed" (jokingly), as in, he would wake me up when he got home in the morning.
*side note: we've spent a lot of time apart because of school, so I think I'm just more sensitive to him being gone for the night and I went to sleep being happy he would wake me up*
Well, this morning (around 6:30 because he told me that's when he got home) I heard him come in. I was pretty asleep but sort of remember hearing him. The next thing I know I wake up (didn't set an alarm) and it's already like 7:10 and he still hadn't come to bed. I pretended to be asleep (lol) until about 7:25 when he finally came in, at which point I had already given up and was getting out of bed (I needed to get to work at 9). He was like "are you ok" and I said no, I was mad he didn't come wake me up.
Then the whole argument starts because he said he was hungry (which is legit) so he made a pizza (frozen one he put in oven). The entire time I just kept saying "it took you an HOUR to make and eat the pizza?!" It just made me so angry because I was looking forward to cuddling for a bit and maybe a little fun time ![]()
Now, I realize that he just had a 12hr overnight shift, so really, he should get a free pass for anything. The only thing is that while the pizza was baking or while he was eating it he could have come and gotten me. I know this was his 'wind-down' time, but it just really made me sad. Plus he has nigh shift again so I won't see him until tomorrow morning.
Re: Ok, who's right?
This more sounds like a lack of communication more than a who's right situaition.
Tell him all of the bolded stuff, he was probably thought he was being nice by not waking you up.
And if your H is anything like my H and I was like "dude, I want to have sexxytime" all thoughts of food, video games, sports, etc... would be out of his head in about 2.5 seconds.

sorry......i wish i could side with you because i'm *exactly* the same way when h doesn't wake me up when he says he would. he always thinks "well i didn't want to interrupt your sleep"......
the boys mean well...and as girls, we're just sensitive.
call him first, and explain to him that you wanted to cuddle....and next time, be more forward with wanting to cuddle (preferably nekked), and he won't make the mistake again.

That show is pretty funny. I know he's sort of right. Although I will say, I forgot to mention that when he did get in bed at 7:25 he was like "yeah, I'm getting into bed with you now" to which I was like
"um, this is when I have to get up for work!" I know again, I shouldn't have expected him to be thinking of all that, but I was confused... like, when did you think I would need to get up? So he did intend of waking me up and coming to bed, he just didn't think about the timing.
