* SO HAPPY! A friend suggested we take our car to the dealer to see about the a/c issues since the car is only 4 years old because her mom had the same issue and Honda covered part of the repair cost because let's face it, a 4 year old car shouldn't be having a/c issues. Anyway, DH took it in this morning and apparently we purchased the extended warranty, so the work is covered! I am so.freaking.happy!!!
* Our carpets are being cleaned today. Enough said.
Re: What's Good, Friday??
-Cooper's fever seems to be gone (again) yay! I was not looking forward to being stuck at home with a sick kiddo all weekend (again).
-Cooper pee peed in his potty last night! I am so impressed and proud. We aren't really even trying to potty train, I bought the potty a month or so ago because he is very interested in talking about all things potty-related and occasionally I remember to ask him if he wants to sit on it. Last night he did and he peed! YAY!
-By this time next week we should have a very good idea of where we stand in the whole DH-job-career-change-fiasco.
-Had a hysterical conversation with one of the known "campus grouches" this morning, and he made a JOKE! I feel like I should call the campus newspaper office or something.
-It's Friday!
* Limoncello cupcakes. I just ate one.
- My mom had a great first week at her new job. She was out of work for awhile, and it just broke my heart. I'm so, so happy for her.
- Helen was back to her smiley, wiggly self again yesterday after having her first cold at the beginning of the week.
- I had a delicious sandwhich for lunch from Whole Foods. Yum.
My aunt, one of my most favorite people, is in town. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer but her surgery went well and she's recovering nicely. This is the "good" time before radiation, et al, start, so I'm excited to just hang out and visit with her.
Otherwise, it's the weekend and that means Georgia time!
